Discus C60 Team is the mid-range deep-section wheelset of the 3T Discus range: the 25mm wide, all-carbon-fiber rims are 58mm deep, yet overall weight is held at 1632 – 1652g. Center Lock disc brake hubs with 24 bladed spokes front and rear offer industry-standard fitment for quality disc-brake setups. 3T's linear+ system optimizes build quality and asymmetric rim drilling reduces the difference in spoke tension between the drive side and non-drive side. The hubs have light, alloy oversize spindles with modular end-caps that can be easily swapped from quick-release to thru-axle as needed; rear width can run 135mm or 142mm to fit latest CX and gravel-grinder thru-axle framesets.
The all-carbon-fiber rim is 58mm deep, with a blunt profile for stable aerodynamic performance at typical angles to the wind; the wide tire bed provides a really firm base to run the latest, race-weight fat tires at lower pressure, with the advantages of:

- Less rolling resistance
- Reduced incidence of punctures
- Better handling control
Going tubeless allows you to run lower tire pressures without the added weight of a tube. Lower tire pressure has many benefits, including greater traction, lower rolling resistance over rough surfaces, and decreased risk of a puncture-related flat.
Tubeless-ready rims and tires are parts of a complete system that eliminate the need for tubes by creating an airtight chamber between the rim and tire. Liquid sealant is added to the chamber to fill small punctures and maintain air pressure while you ride.
UST (Universal Standard for Tubeless) is a specific type of tubeless system that dictates the shape of the rim and tire bead. UST rims should be paired with UST-specific tires for best results.
